Insatiable was actually the last song we recorded in Chicago with Marc McClusky. After learning so much about ourselves musically, this song was the culmination of our Chicago experience. After giving the initial idea to Marc and going through his revisions, it was one of the most gratifying experiences to hear him say, 'this could definitely be the single'.

Initially, the song was actually about 10 or 15 seconds longer with an extended bridge. But after listening to it back enough times, we realized it was missing a punch coming back into the chorus. The same punch that we have always prided ourselves on providing in both our recordings and our performances. So we trimmed it up, and got the aggressive conclusion to the song that we were all craving.
